New project Bio4ensics funded by Hessian Ministry of the Interior and Sport

In the research project „Bio4ensics“, new biometric methods in cyber forensics are being developed to identify perpetrators and victims based on faces, tattoos and hands. Bio4ensics explores the use of artificial images generated exclusively by computer programmes for AI training. The project, led by Prof. Dr Christoph Busch and Dr Christian Rathgeb (both from Darmstadt University of Applied Sciences), is funded with a grant of 335,000 euros.
