Abstract
Despite their increasing popularity, biometric systems offer points of attack. Protective measures are therefore necessary especially for security-critical applications. In this talk, the weakness of modern face recognition algorithms to so called morphing attacks will be discussed and detection methods for attacks from current research will be presented. In particular, the use case of facial biometrics as an automated border control system will be discussed in more detail.
