Benedikt-Alexander Mokroß won the FBTI Award of Excellence 2018 for his Master thesis entitled „Efficient Biometric Identification in Large-Scale Palm Vein Databases“. The thesis was conducted at da/sec group under supervision of Prof. Dr. Christoph Busch, Prof. Dr. Christoph Wentzel, and Pawel Drozdowski.
The Award along with a monetary prize of 1000€ is granted yearly in three categories (Bachelor, Master, Doctoral theses) by the German-wide board of computer science faculties of universities of applied science (Fachbereichstag Informatik, FBTI).
