Abstract

Breeder documents have become attention of security concerns since they are considered the weakest link in the identity life cycle. On the one hand, today’s ePassports are more secure than ever due to an integrated chip and biometrics, but on the other hand, a valid ePassport can be obtained with a low security birth certificate. This presentation discusses the integration of blockchain technology into breeder documents to ensure long-term authenticity and integrity of breeder documents.
