Abstract

„The development of a Presentation Attack Detection (PAD) system for ID cards faces challenges due to the limited availability of bona fide images and the growing variety of attack methods. Many algorithms focus on generating attack samples without considering the scarcity of bona fide images. This work introduces a novel approach by creating synthetic bona fide images using Stable Diffusion in a hybrid and one-shot method, potentially enhancing the PAD detector’s generalisation capabilities.“
