This year the da/sec group represent the project ROBUST at CeBIT 2016. It is a collobarative reserach project of the Frankfurt University of Applied Sciences, Hochschule Darmstadt, rh-tec Business GmbH and evaxo GmbH. You can visit us at the Hessen Pavilion(Hall 6, Stand C18).
ROBUST provides a economical secure and automated scalability for applications in the cloud. Use the advantages of variable costs in the cloud. Control your resources in a flexible way to cope with unpredictable system load situations. With our solution, your system scales only if your costs will be covered. Our solution extends existing cloud platforms and web applications with secure scalability in accordance with economic key figures. Based on existing contracts, past experiences and future expectations, ROBUST makes decisions about the optimal distribution of incoming requests to the available network and computing resources. All requests are classified, forwarded through reserved network resources and processed on the available computational capacities. This happens in a dynamic way with respect to the current workload of the systems. And the most important benefit: everything is calculated cost-efficiently. With our solution, it is possible to provide cloud services with guaranteed service qualities for high-class groups of customers for the first time.
Since 2015 the Frankfurt University of Applied Sciences, Hochschule Darmstadt, rh-tec Business GmbH and evaxo GmbH work together on the evolution in automated scalability.
