Description: Open Competence Center for Cyber Security abbreviated as OpenC3S is seen as a concept for further education dedicated to urgently needed skilled employees working in the IT field. It is a common goal of the associated partners to put research knowledge into practice and to offer appropriate study programmes through a further training programme. The target group mainly includes employed people who haven´t received a formal qualification yet. The OpenC3S concept pursues an Anglo-Saxon model of an open university with no limitation admission criteria. Especially people with professional experiences are addressed.

The university for applied sciences in Darmstadt contributes to 3 subprojects (in German ‚Teilprojekte‘ abbreviated as TP) within Open C3S:
