Information on the advanced seminar (WS24/25):
Short description:
The theme of the seminar is Identity Science and focus will be put on person recognition in virtual reality. Specifically, the goal is to investigate methods to identify humans in virtual reality environments. Different topics (including hands-on and research topics) will be presented to the students in a kick-off meeting. The students then choose a topic and are encouraged to form groups. At the end of the semester, each group has to submit a term paper summarizing the obtained results and prepare a presentation. Corresponding hardware for hands-on topics will be provided.
